He nationalized banks, auto companies, health care. He gave everyone free radios and then nationalized the radio stations. (Not really dissimilar to the MSM today)

That’s how Kitty Werthmann describes Hitler’s rise to power in Austria in 1938. 12 years old at the time, Werthmann witnessed history. Now 84, she spends time spreading the word that it could (and may) happen here. She has even been interviewed by Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity.

She brought her message to Newbury Park last Friday evening, at an event sponsored by the Thousand Oaks Tea party.

Obviously, there are parallels here between our own rapidly growing government and that of Germany’s in the 1930s. The Progressives are fond of saying that Hitler was a right-wing figure and has more in common with the Tea Party than the socialists. However, the Nazi Party’s full name was the National Socialist German Workers’ Party—that hardly sounds like a small-government conservative group.

In truth, the Nazi Party was a left-wing organization and embraced socialism. While free radios and free health care sounds great, they come with strings attached. The more control you give to your government, the less freedom you will have, until one day—as Austrians found out 5 years after electing Hitler—you wake up with none at all.

I have never seen a starving, homeless politician. My guess is I never will. They have buffered themselves and their families in protective bubbles no one can penetrate. But at what cost? And to whom?

The obvious answer is the American people, but do we really understand just how deep in our pockets they have reached? I don’t see it when I watch people on the street. They seem to muddle along oblivious of what “wonders” the New World Order is bringing to their door steps.

Excerpt: Most Americans still do not understand just how bad the economic horror we are facing really is. Today, millions of Americans are living as paupers in the land that their foreathers built even as America’s infrastructure is literally being sold out from under their feet by corrupt politicians.

The “official” unemployment rate in the United States has been at nine and a half percent or above for 14 consecutive months, and today it takes the average unemployed American about 35 weeks to find a job. However, the “official” unemployment rate is misleading, because it does not include workers that have quit looking for work or that have had their hours cut back to part-time.

According to 60 Minutes, when you add those “discouraged workers” and “underemployed workers” into the equation the actual rate is about 17 percent, and in the state of California the actual rate is about 22 percent. Meanwhile, foreign nations are using sovereign wealth funds to buy up staggering amounts of U.S. infrastructure.

America is quite literally for sale in 2010.

All across the United States, highways, ports, toll roads and even parking meters are being gobbled up by foreign powers. We have shipped massive amounts of wealth and jobs to other nations, and now those very same countries are turning around and buying huge amounts of U.S. infrastructure with the gigantic piles of dollars that they have accumulated.

Not sure exactly what the agenda is here but I can’t imagine it being worth the price tag. I mean, really Barry, what the hell are you thinking, guy?

All meetings have been held, all speeches have been made and now it is time to decide our fate as a nation. We sit on the edge of a great crevice. Will we turn back away from it or plunge ourselves over the edge into oblivion?

The liberal left has controlled both Houses of Congress for the last four years. They can scream and shout about obstruction from conservatives all they want, but we all know that is a falsehood.

Here is a quick review of what the liberal left has done for (to) us over the last four years:

Remember this legacy when you step into the booth to vote tomorrow. You are the only chance we have left to turn this mess around.

It bears repeating; when Democrats took control of Congress in January 2007, unemployment was 4.6%. Now, after four years of their harebrained policies, unemployment is somewhere between 9.6% — 17%.

Vote your conscience and good luck on the outcome.

And on the eighth day, Main Stream Media created the news in it’s own image and said “It is good.”

But is it? Not according to conservative powerhouse Sarah Palin. She called the MSM to task this morning on Fox News Sunday by exposing some rather shady tactics by CBS affiliates in Anchorage, AK.

If there is one thing that Main Stream Media hates, it’s the truth about their underhanded tactics in manipulating the news exposed to the light of day. They believe the American people are so ignorant and thick that they’ll believe anything they’re told by the press – they are, after all, the MSM, right?

It’s no secret that the MSM slants stories to reflect their personal and political left agendas. That in and of itself is a travesty to freedom of the press and professional journalism.

But it reaches a new low when there is no news they find useful, so they go out and create some to their exclusive benefit. That breaks the legs of subjective journalism coming out of the starting gate and become a slanderous brand of fictional tripe.
